Dr. Rytis Rainys was born in 24/06/1976. He received his B.E. in 1999, M.S. in 2005 and Ph.D. in 2011 in the area of Technology Sciences from Vilnius Gedimino Technical University (VGTU), Lithuania. Research area – internet infrastructure security and resilience (related topics such as mapping internet topology, critical internet infrastructure elements, cyber-attacks and CERT model).

Rytis has 10 years of experience in electronic communications network and information security issues with responsibility for implementation of various national public awareness projects, cyber incidents investigations models and internet networks resilience assessment within Lithuania. In its lead, the National Computer Emergency Response Team CERT-LT was establishment in 2006 and a national Safer Internet project implemented in 2007.

Rytis held positions as Director of Network and Information Security Department at Communications Regulatory Authority of the Republic of Lithuania; Chairman of the Independent Regulators Group international working group on Networks and information security (IRG WG on NIS); Member of the Management Board at International Association of Internet Hotlines INHOPE (2008-2011).

Petri Kuivala is the Chief Security Officer (CSO) for Nokia, which includes responsibility for the whole area of security.

Petri was the CISO at Nokia between 2009-2011. Previously he led Corporate Security operations globally and prior to that in China. Since joining Nokia in 2001, he has also worked for Nokia’s IT Application Development organization and on the Nokia Siemens Networks merger project.

Prior to joining Nokia, Petri worked for the Helsinki Police department from 1992 and was a founding member of the Helsinki Criminal Police IT- investigation department. He holds a degree in Masters of Law.

Coen Bongers is Risk & Control Officer for the Platform Security at Philips, is MCSE, CISSP and CISA certified and studied Technical Computer Science in Arnhem, the Netherlands. He started his career in 1987 and worked in many fields within the IT industry, such as IT support, firewall management and consultancy. For several years Coen worked for the Dutch Defense Department as Military Police Officer and Firearms Instructor.

Because of this background he was later asked to join the Philips Security team during days of LovGate, Nimda and CodeRed. Within Philips, Coen worked as IT Risk assessor, Security analyst and CSIRT Team Lead. He has been involved in response to many severe incidents. Currently Coen is performing web application security testing, IT risk assessments and security incident response support. He works closely with the CIS Office, security architects and external organizations such as the Dutch NCSC.

Andy Archibald is Head of the National Cyber Crime Unit (NCCU) of the National Crime Agency, responsible for leading the UK’s law enforcement response to cyber crime. Prior to the NCA’s inception, Andy was a Deputy Director of the Serious Organised Crime Agency, responsible for Strategy and Government Relationships and, more recently, Cyber and Forensics.

Andy joined Lothian and Borders Police in 1984, where he held a variety of uniformed and detective roles, particularly in the field of Major Crimes, leading complex investigations and covert operations. He was the operational head of Special Branch from 1999-2000, where he led national operations. Andy has also been seconded to the Home Office, where he worked on developing plans for the forthcoming National Crime Agency, and, prior to SOCA’s inception, as Assistant Director and Head of Branch at the National Criminal Intelligence Service.

His current role as NCCU Head involves setting up the Unit, bringing together SOCA’s Cyber Department and the Metropolitan Police Central e-Crime Unit to create one unit with the national lead for cybercrime. On a national level, he chairs the multi-agency Cyber Threat Reduction Board and, internationally, is the UK Head of Delegation for the G8 Law Enforcement Group and Chair of the ‘Strategic Alliance’ Cybercrime group.

Marcus Klische has more than 20 years of experience in IT Industry, and with a broad range of IT Security, Product Management, and Government solutions experience. He regularly attends and speaks on international security conferences, especially with focus on banking IT security. Previously he worked for 4 years in the UK as a Senior Systems Engineer where he took a part in the implementation of complex IT and security solutions including biometric devices.

After the University studies, he participated and managed international IT projects for Slovak government. Vladimir is also Microsoft certified IT Professional and Certified Systems Engineer.

Florian Merx has been part of DHL Express since September 2011. As IT Security Manager Europe in the European Head Office, he is responsible for the coordination of security initiatives across Europe. In practice, this means developing pragmatic and efficient solutions to fulfill the requirements of 21st century logistics.
